Dark malts aren’t the only way to create the distinctive flavors you love in dark beers. In an effort to mess with your mind, we’ve created a golden stout that gets its chocolate and roast flavors from cacao nibs and cold-pressed coffee. We then aged this deceptive stout in a selection of Bourbon barrels curated by our friends at Jubilation for a collaborative beer as unique as it is complex.

From a 22 oz bottle a clear deep amber with an ecru head. Aroma of coffee, bourbon and chocolate. Flavors are moderate to heavy sweet with plenty of coffee flavors. Luscious mouthfeel and finish. Tasty stuff but what is it? Hard to call this an imperial stout and there is no golden imperial stout category, so American Strong Ale it is.
