From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear pale mahogany with a massive tan head. Aromas are nutty and metallic. Flavors are bitter roast.

Thanks Vanessa! Crowler to mug.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a finger’s worth of almond colored foamy head. Fell off at a good pace to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had a good dose of sweet and roasty nuts encasing a nice caramel/toffee clean maltiness. Some earthy to grassy and leafy assortment of low bitter hops.
The flavor had a fabulous blend of the prior noted aromas to meld nicely into the aftertaste and slide gently into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a good sessionability about it. Fairly low carbonation, but I didn’t mind, probably the whole \"crowler\" effect and the fact that it was send from Nebraska. ABV felt good as projected by the brewer.
Overall, pretty nice brown ale that I would have again if I could get it.
