16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small notes. Nose is like a Duvel clone, with gentle candi sugar, moderately estery Belgian yeast, and tangy hops. Flavour reveals a nice tangy hoppiness upfront, followed by lightly estery Belgian yeast and gentle candi sugar. Nice hoppy brightness to this. The Belgian yeast expression is not all that authentic or convincing, but it's a solid beer.

Hazy and relatively pale. Just a thin head. Floral, light bugs, sticky with malt and phenols. Apple, peaches, apricots, sticky malts, more phenols than I care for...it's not bad. Like if someone made a shitty, sticky Duvel wanna be and tried to cover it up, as opposed to we made it this way because we conceptualized the perfect Belgian golden strong like this. I mean, it's not bad or anything, but it's leaving a lot of upside on the table.

Almost clear, golden color and a nice white head. Nose is hoppy, belgian yeast, spicy. Yeasty, nice malty-hoppy flavors.

473ml can. Gusher alert. Fruity, slightly spicy and tartish with some Belgian yeasty notes, farmyard and sweetness. Okay.

1 pint can. Pours a slightly hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of pine, muddled fruit, a little Belgian yeast, and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on Belgian yeast coming through as banana and a bit of cloves. Solid, though not subtle.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Beautiful blond-orange colour, just hazy, with large head. Perfumey aroma, a touch of coriander and anise, white refined sugar, light sour plums. Good body, thankfully it's not very sweet, there are hints of caramel and toffee, bold bitterness, strong spicy yeast character, orange peel, and long finish, with some alcohol warmth.
I had this one fairly cold, and it went down too easily. Excellent.

Potpourri florals. Golden pour with decent head. Light sweet floral finish. Some lemon peel, a hint of white pepper. I remember liking the older version more. Can.
