Mischief is a hoppy Belgian-style golden strong ale. This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture. Enjoy it, but you’ll want to keep an eye out.

2017 Mischief reveals a new dry-hopping plan and a brand new label, both of which will change each year, every year. The 2017 edition of Mischief features Citra and Motueka hops, adding fresh citrus and tropical notes to the ripe, fruity character of the crisp, dry and effervescent Belgian-style.

Can - lightly hazy gold with moderate lace - flavor is moderately spicy, moderately bitter, with some acidity through the middle as some tropical fruit character develops - medium sweet, and the alcohol is surprisingly present - finishes with lingering bitterness and moderate black pepper - it's decent.

Can, from City Hops. The 2018 edition, with the same hops combination. Pours cloudy golden with large foamy whitish head, citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with earthy overtones, smooth body, long hoppy finish. Exactly as named, a mischief maker. Smooth and tasty.
