Pours pitch black with a medium foamy light brown head that diminishes gradually. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of black coffee, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate-covered espresso beans, charred malt and a hint of black licorice. The finish is roasty with a mocha aftertaste. Good beer all around.
