Strawberry Rhubarb Sour is a gift for the senses. Strawberry is the yin to rhubarb’s yang—the sweet to the tart. This beautiful partnership creates a beer that glows ruby in the glass, bursts with strawberry aroma, and bites with every sip. Bright and effervescent, this sour is a fun and refreshing, lip-puckering treat perfect for every occasion, any time of the year.

On tap at the Denver Airport location. Pours a hazy peachy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of tart rhubarb with some sweet grains and a bit of lactose coming through. Favor has tart strawberry and rhubarb with some creamy sweet grains backing.

Draft. A- Strawberry, rhubarb. A- Pink gold color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Rhubarb, strawberry, slightly tart, faint grass. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A lovely pie flavor. The rhubarb is maybe more pronounced than the strawberry but a balanced fruit beer. Easy and refreshing to drink.

From the can, mine is not ruby in color, its just pale and cloudy. Has an almost typical beery nose, no hint of other things supposedly in this brew. Taste is tart but not overly, almost has a somewhat tart gose attitude about it. Eh, taste is pretty good but was expecting something more refreshing for some reason. Goes down fairly easy with no bitterness what so ever. Hides the alky content very well for a beer that's over 6%. A slight feeling of dullness in the middle. Now I think I'm getting mild hints of perfume on the olfactory. Finishes with a decent creamy sizzle and a tart-ish feel on the palate. I wouldn't call this a wild brew; somewhat tart? Maybe. Wild? No. I guess I've been spoiled by the amount of well made wild brews that are out there lately.
