Flare (yes, that’s how we are spelling it) is our gose that we have added citrus fruit to. This beer is slightly tart, a little salty, and has a nice balance from the fruit and spices. Ale brewed with orange and coriander.

An orange beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has fruiness of orange, strong (milk)sourness, also other fruitness. Taste has mango, sourness, fruitness of citrus. Medium bodied. Nice beer, which fruitness is nicely combined to quite strong sourness.

This is wonderful! It's a tad heavier than traditional gose, but I'm not rating to style, so ignoring that, it has a nice lactic tartness, just a hint of coriander and a mineral-y-ness or saltiness, didn't taste the orange. Semi-dry (there's still some residual sugar in there, just enough for a little balance against the sour, hence the comment about heavier than traditional gose). Golden, fluffy white head.

Can from Beer Republic. Hazy golden to orange color, short frothy head. Aroma is soft fruity, slight tartness and funk. Grainy wheat, apricot. Quite a lot of lactic sourness, together with fruity skin bitterness. Its much more towards a fruity sour than I expected.

Draught @ Row 34, Boston. Hazy light amber. Salty orangey tart aroma, same on the palate. Saltiness is restrained. So decent, clean, bright.

Pours a hazy cider-like Amber into a tulip. No head. Lychee and breadfruit aromas. Tart with lemon/lime upfront turning to sharp apple and pear in the tart, medium length finish.

Sample at Bob's Bar during the "Prairie Artisan Ales!" event on 08/10/2017. Cloudy golden color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal wheat, bready malt and yeast. The finish is mildly tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can. Unfitlered orange-brown-tan body. Thin, fading, white head. Has a nice salt and coriander touch, enough to firmly implant it into the Gose category...not like offerings that are interchangeable with a Berliner. A touch of pickles, but more so a cheesy funky sour. Pleasant mouthfeel. Attractive artwork on the can throws it over the top. Well executed, solid offering.
