Mild earthy herbal aroma. faint caramelly. Wouldn't really think IPA if i blind tasted this, rather think something belgian. flavor is caramelly, nutty malty, quite bitter from hops - the bitterness appears european - more bitter than aromatic, the whole package functions surprisingly well, and could be a strong thirst quencher i think. Reminds me of belgian strong ale.
