For this unique, high-gravity blonde saison our Brewmaster (and chief gardener) Phil selected a variety of edible, aromatic and medicinal flowers including Calluna vulgaris, Lavandula angustifolia, Matricaria chamomilla, Calendula officinalis, Rosa canina and Hops (they're flowers too!) This "arrangement" creates a farmhouse ale with a one-of-a-kind aroma and flavor.

Some liquor store in CT: pours orange with frothy white head. Aroma is rosy, yeasty, tad herbal, and very flowery in general. Taste is dry. A little sweet. Flowery. Low bitterness, but some at the finish. Not bad. Not my favorite but certainly out of the ordinary.

Bottle at Cotteridge Wines tasting Cott Botts MkII; hazy yellow pour with a big frothy white head, aroma has a lot of floral action along with some citrus, taste has sweet malts, some floral action, yeast finish.

From 75cl bottle. Pours pale gold, white foam. Aroma is complex: both sweet and citrus. Body is medium. Taste is sweet, recalling lavender, plus some bitterness. Finish is long.

@Ulfborg Scooper. Nearly clear, light golden. Small white head. Aroma has sweet malt, light yeast and fruity esters. Sweet, yeasty flavour, notes of solvent and sweet malt. Slightly floral.

750 ml bottle purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. Slightly pink hue on a golden liquid. Aroma is light floral notes of lavender, dried flowers and honey.
The yeast is subdued by the Rose and lavender. Malt is kind of buried under the floral notes. Body is lighter with bitterness coming from dead flowers. If the Brewer was wanting people to drink a liquid rose garden then mission accomplished.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a yellow color with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma was floral, slightly soapy character. Flavor was very floral, lavender. Soapy? Interesting.
