Our Ol' Porph Ale a Belgian ale that is golden in color, light, dry, bready and fruity with flavors of pear, stone fruit and lemon with a hop-driven, herbal finish.
Ol' Porph Ale is a throwback to the ale that Belgian coal miners drank in the Hainaut province of Belgium in the late 1800's called "Porph Ale". Porph Ale was handed out to weary coal miners to quench their thirst after a hard day's work.
It's the quintessential springtime beer.
