6/6/2026. Bottle at the June ITFC beer share. Courtesy of Boris, cheers! As Philipsen Blond. Good pour. Sweet and malty, toffee, biscuit, yeasty, flowery. Sweet, caramel, bready. Hint of coconut came through. Decent body. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle [simply as "Philipsen Blond"]. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, , slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally bready malty and peppery spicy aroma, hints of coriander, a touch of brown bread crust. Taste is peppery spicy, minimally grassy hoppy and minimally bready malty, notes of coriander, a touch of grass, brown bread crust, spiced bread, low residual sweetness.
Slightly oily, watery texture, soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Okay-ish composition, but rather spice dominated and a bit simple and monotonous overall - though missing on the label, the "6" is rather prominent in this tick.
