Sample at the taproom during the "11 Years of Bold Brews - Zaftig's Anniversary Party!" event on 05/17/2025. Brown-black pour with a thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of bourbon, oaky vanilla, chocolate malt and coffee. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
