In Czechia, this is the half-dark, the polotmavy. It melds the flavors of toffee and toasted caramel to a ZIPPY and crisp, noble hop driven finish. A peppery, herbal bite and dry finish keep you coming back for more, while the beer presents nuanced malt character. Gives you a great option for your regulars who prefer to lean a little darker with their beer choices even in the summer, but tantalizing and dry and refreshing enough for everyone else.

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6
Pour is a dark amber, almost brown with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted malt with even some cocoa. Flavor is some toasted grain but not much else. I guess some hop bitterness is there but again not much. Finish is clean and drinkable but pretty lackluster.
