On tap at Schmohz. Described as "the ridiculously good beer," with a label featuring a smiling pickle and strawberries. Very peculiar. Anyway, the body was cloudy light yellow-orange, topped by a thin off-white head. The aroma was light and sweet, with grassy hops and light, fresh strawberry. Sadly, the body was thin to the point of flavorless, and what was there didn’t come together well. A touch of wet socks and sour astringency paired with the light strawberry skin flavors. It seems like there’s a base that can be improved on here, though. The concept of a light summer beer with a touch of strawberry is a refreshing one, particularly on an 86 degree May day.
