Sampled at the 2nd annual Michigan Winter Beer Festival, Lansing. 2003 vintage. One of my fest favorites, this was a soft, creamy IS dominated by chocolate and coffee, finishing with nice bitter roast. A vinous, fruity characteristic kept things interesting. Velvety palate.
