Hopsun is a Founders Tap Room product only at this point in time (2/10/04). Brewed with 50% wheat and hopped with a hop bill similar to our IPA. In other words a very wheaty, hoppy wheat beer, with the addition of some spices.

On tap at Founders. Appearance of apricot puree: dull, murky, and yellow-orange, with a thin off-white head. Wheaty aroma with grapefruity hops and a touch of spices. Flavor starts with big grapefruity hops, settling to tangy, grainy, fruity wheat malt, finishing bitter with a touch of pine. Creamy yet a bit tingly on the tongue. This was a pretty good beer.
