Virgil was aged for several months in a blend of Boone County, MGP, and Basil Hayden bourbon barrels. It has a jet-black color with a tan head and a flavor profile that includes notes of plum, raisin, molasses, cacao, and licorice. The taste finishes with a roasty full palate and a warming alcohol sensation with a touch of sweet oaky bourbon. You will be able to enjoy it on draft or purchase it in 500ml bottles at both of our locations.

Bottle shared at the June DCBeer share. Poured a thick, dark black color. Flavor was rich dark chocolate cake with icing, a slight bourbon warmth, and a smooth, drinkable beer. Dessert-like, but still well crafted and balanced.
