Light of Day is a modern West Coast IPA. Dry but juicy with a gentle bitter finish. A dangerously drinkable IPA.

Mosaic leads the charge, with a helping hand from Simcoe. We’re tasting pineapple chunks, lemon peel and a slightly sweaty, dank finish.

On tap at The Hole In The Wall, Brighton. Nose is pineapple, kiwifruit, white grape, lemon drops. Taste is a fruity mix of the above. Refreshing bittersweet number.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Hazy-opaque medium gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has flaky malts (that's what they were like in my imagination at least) alnside light medium bitter stone fruit. Develops a sweet fruity.streak, moreso into the finish. Underlying porridge sweetness. Light. Thin. Soft pillowy but also fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Very much like the previous Two Flints beer only with more bitterness as befitting an IPA. Easy drinking but not particularly memorable. Update - this was a Westie. Nah, bruv. Maybe a Mountain IPA.
