For the first of our birthday imperial stouts we've kept it simple, an adjunct-free stout of old! Deep black in colour and rich in sweet caramel and toffee notes from the selection of dark malts, with dark chocolate and tobacco notes alongside. A super high finishing gravity makes for a rich and decadent finish.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, liquorice, treacle, burnt toast, taste is sweet, fruity, chocolate, liquorice, some smoke. 8/7/8/7/7

Can from the Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Nose is dark chocolate, burnt toast, black treacle, coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, smoke, raisin, banana, coffee, caramel cake. Rich roasty sweet with a lightly bitter back drop.
