Can (12/9/25) from Steve. Crystal clear gold, lovely sparkle, ample head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong passion fruit, tropical fruit. Taste is strong passion fruit, apricot, honey, candied Smartie. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, no sign of alcohol, finish as taste. I can't recall a juicy IPA EVER looking this clear. Interesting. Juicy all the way without being overly sweet, in my opinion, but you've got to have a hankering for hard candy to drink this one.

This 12 oz can was bought at the closest HEB supermarket very recently. Stamp on the base of the can says it was canned on 05/01/25. The glass serving duty this quite hot, early evening is a tulip from the lamentably departed Buffalo Bayou in H-Town. Saint Arnold may be the brewery for my most ratings by now, hard to say on the new website, RB took particular attention to that. Can is open and I lift into the glass. I see a surprisingly clear pale gold body topped with a here-and-gone cover of absolutely white foam, superb carbonation is noted. The drink goes with honeydew melon, mangoes, white bread, malt and a whiff of cut grass. Interesting. I’m not sure if this beer intended to be NE or WC style, seems to fall in-between somewhere. No matter to me, it’s tasty with the decently high abv not apparent. Only slightly bitter with this curious fruity base, well done overall Houston.
