Characterized by its boldness and rich-reddish color, just like its namesake, General George Armstrong Custer, this malty extra-special bitter ale has a bold sweetness with a full body and bursting into action.

Butterscotch, malt, and hay aroma. Amber with small light tan head. Moderately sweet butterscotch, malt, and mildly bitter weedy hay flavor. Good body.

Draft at the namesake. Clear golden amber color. Toasted caramel aroma. Taste is lightly peppery caramel. OK.
