Pounder can $3 at chalet. Pour is brown pale. Malty nose. Malty first impressions on the tastebuds with just a tad sweet. Good level of co2. Better than expected, not much bitterness and I like that. Smooth. Nifty aftertaste with each big slug. These alts certainly are a different kind of beer. This one reminds me of many milder Scottish or Irish Reds. Somewhat creamy in the middle. Could easily drink a few of these with no problem. Almost as good as Burghers Altbier, Cobblehaus Old Town and Big Boss Beer Fest II. Pleasant surprise NH!
