A new brew to me from Total Wine in Santa Fe. Several beers I have had now from Bow & Arrow, some good, some missing the mark. I think it is time to see what Southwesty does for me. The pint can is open and I lift into my Great Heights snifter. The appearance is a semi-clear pale yellow liquid topped by a small but persistent head of totally white foam. I smell hops and cut grass and a touch of citrus. The drink is similar, lemons, some grapefruit, white bread and a strong bitterness. Unfortunately nothing really carries this beer over the finish line ahead of anything else in the style.
