Our Brewer’s Edition for the month of February is the West Coast Stout. A twist on the traditional stout recipe, an American stout has more layered hop character that combines with the roasted malts to create a more complex stout. In this case, we used all European hops with a focus on Chinook and Sorachi Ace from Belgium! The hot side and dry hop additions give flavours of pine, citrus, resin, and coconut, which mix with the bold roast, coffee and chocolate flavours from the malt, creating the perfect beer for hop heads and dark beer enthusiasts! Bunker down and get through the rest of this winter with a West Coast Stout!Style: American Stout
