From tap at Constellation, Budapest, 20.02.25. Cloudy orange straw colour. Diminishing off-white head. Fine aroma and taste of Sevilla marmalade, solid malt, papaya, mandarins and sap, all of which is lingering on in aftertaste.

Tap at Beer Republic Yokohama. Clear, orange colour. Small beige head. Aroma orange marmalade, very fruity, touch of grapefruit bitterness. Quite malty bit of spice. Taste nice and fruity, orange again, ginger. Really nicely balanced. Maybe watermelon. Some sherbet too. Really nice. Hides the percentage well. Nice texture, not too full on but has a body to it.

On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice big citrus forward hops and some sweet malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts citrus orange tangerine hops with a pithy grapefruit bitterness on the end.

Draft at Shinshu Osake Mura. Pours nice cloudy orange, some more foam on top at first but dissipates quickly, leaving some nice white lacings on the glass. Nose has some fruity sweetness, nice fresh overall feel with mangos, papayas and orange juice. Tastes nicely full bodied but not heavy, lots of hop resins contributing to the oiliness and to the body. Lots of hops there, working great with the malty body, well-balanced. Probably one of my favourites from Shiga Kogen's usual lineup, never fails.

330ml bottle from Osake, Tokyo. Bottled 09/2017. Pours golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, herbal notes, pine and citrus. Taste is crisp, grassy hoppy and herbal with some pine, resin and caramely malts. Finish is lingering bitter, crisp and grassy with some citrus and pine. Fresh and tasty west coast IPA.

Sampled from bottle at kermis’ German trophy tasting. Courtesy of zer0! Thanks for bringing this over! Sweet caramel malts, fudge, bitter nettle like hops. Quite sweet and quite bitter. Bottle shared thanks to Zer0. Bit hazy darker golden with small off white head. Quite malty, soft tea, apricot, soft dust, herbs. Quite hoppy but more in an apricot/tea way. Quite sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Bit rough and old school.
