Similar in technique to a Flemish Red Ale or an Oude Bruin, this beer is a blend of several different standard and barrel-aged styles and vintages, aged in barrels innoculated with Lactobacillus, and conditioned together on top of tart and black cherry puree in the brite tank. Highly-carbonated with a bright ruby-red tint, this beer has a complex profile with hints of vanilla & coconut from the oak, highlights of Lactic Acid, toffee and dried fruit with a subtle cherry base.
