We've been obsessed with the idea of terroir in beer for years: the idea of capturing the essence of a time and place with a beer that couldn't possibly be recreated. It's a concept in wine that gets much more attention, in large part because with a single ingredient, capturing terroir is much more attainable.
In Single Origin, we’re thrilled to offer for the first time a beer created entirely from a single source, with 100% of the ingredients coming from Silverton’s famed Goschie Farms: Goschie barley and hops are joined by Goschie Riesling and fermented spontaneously using the microflora naturally occurring on those grapes for a truly "estate-grown" offering. We hope you sense every aspect of Goschie terroir with each successive sip.
Barrels: French oak barrels and foeders
Special Ingredients: Goschie Farms Barley, Hops, Riesling grapes, & native yeast
Microbes: Goschie Farms native microflora

500mL bottle, pours a minimally hazed golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals pungent white wine grape skins, plenty of bugs, and a touch of oak. Flavour is complex and yet delicate, with pungent white wine grape skins, complex bugs, oak, and some rustic notes. Oaky, buggy, and vinous. Excellent.
