Inspired by the dark depths of the PNW winter, Short Days Dark Nights is a brawny and meticulously crafted stout that launches a delightful bombardment of complex malt and roast —all layered against a sweetness balanced by lightly roasty acidity and a gentle undercurrent of bitterness.
This variant of Short Days, Dark Nights was aged on a generous quantity of hand-roasted whole hazelnuts and copious amounts of delicious coffee from local roastery, Kuma Coffee. The resulting beer features richly decadent coffee supported by delicious background notes of hazelnut.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours jet blak with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich hazelnut-infused dark roast coffee and plenty of booze. Flavour is full of dark dried fruits, booze, lots of harsh coffee, and a touch of toasted hazelnuts. Rather chaotic and lacking integration. It’s okay.
