A spiced honey pale ale that was very popular in our pre-launch tasting sessions. The honey offers a hint of sweetness to the nose and is wonderfully smooth on the palate. The hint of spiciness comes from addition of crushed coriander seeds during fermentation.

Cask (gravity) at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal off-white head. The aroma is rather sweet with plenty of honey and floral hops. All this sweetness continues in the mouth where summer fruits also come to the fore and traces of ginger later on. A touch of bitterness in the finish. This is quite nice – sweetness stops just short of being too much.
