Shiro, means Castle in Japanese. This beer uses a traditional Japanese Lager base and elevates it by an using East African grain called Fonio, this grain will give a touch of tropical fruit reminiscent of Lychee and or mangoes.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear very pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has rice and straw notes with a bit of a lime bite backing. Flavor has lots of straw and a bit of rice with a bite of lime in the finish.
