(Bottle, 0.5l, thanks VastActiv, at VastActiv, 20250912) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had smoke, butter and mild sourness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, smoke, grass, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky and bitter. Thin. Weak.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, slightly redd-ish, dark amber colour with small to average, creamy, moderatel ylasting and lacing, minimally sulphureous, off-white head. Mildly smoky, minimally grainy, caramel malty aroma, hints of smoked wood, some caramel. Taste is mellow malty and minimally smoky, hints of caramel, a touch of smoked wood, minimally diluted hints of peanut.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Nice creamy mouthfeel, very cautious smokiness, more Amber Lager than Rauchbier - would have preferred more smoky flavours.
