Sample at Kurtkeller 009: Matilda-tastic 01 on 03/28/2014. Clear orange-amber pour with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of Belgian yeast, spice and malt. Medium body with flavors of slightly funky yeast, spice, ripe fruit, doughy malt and earthy hops. The finish is slightly funky yeast with a malt aftertaste. Solid beer overall.
