Sample at Kurtkeller 009: Matilda-tastic 01 on 03/28/2014. Clear orange-amber pour with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of Belgian yeast, clove and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, spices, tart fruit, doughy malt and earthy hops. The finish is dry and funky and tart with a Belgian yeast aftertaste. Solid beer overall.
