ON TAP at Snekutis. Aroma: delicate cooked fruit, raw cereals, nice yeasty notes. No big diacetyl. Taste: A touch of burnt sugar, but mostly dry, even a bit tart and very lightly hopped (if at all?). Simple, but good.

Dark brown color with a light beige head, mild duration. Aroma has notes of burnt malts, caramel and coffee. Flavor is slightly sweet with caramelish notes, some bready and toasty hints. Slightly sweetness in the final with a medium presence of malts.

Big beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Earthy licorice aroma with nutty notes. Dry-sweet earthy toffee and licorice taste with chocolate and syrup notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish earthy toffee and caramel aftertaste with mealy toasty notes. Interesting. Very low in bitterness, but still good and drinkable. (0.5l bottle, from Bambalyne, Vilnius.)

On tap at Šnekutis, Užupio, Vilnius. Light brown, quite translucent. A nice little tan head leaves lots of lacing down the glass. Soft unobtrusive chocolate malt scent. Taste is gooey sweet malt with a chocolatey alcohol kick. Medium body, carbonation is well-judged. Simple and perhaps even a bit one-dimensional but it tastes pretty darn good.
