The latest X-Series is finally here! Brewed like a fruit beer and dry-hopped like an IPA, the Double-O Nine was made with wheat, apricots, and grains of paradise before dry-hopping with a healthy dose of Ella. The result is a fruity and juicy ale with with just a hint of black pepper.

300th MA rating! Pours a hazy dark straw from a can. Aroma is kind of a general grain, a little fruit. Flavor is nondescript, I don’t pick up on anything particularly apricot-y, but it is somewhat generally fruity. The black pepper does show up on the finish, a nice touch. Good beer.
