Pours a nice rich brown from a bottle. Nice toffee and slight vanilla aroma, not picking up on much vanilla flavor, just a hint in the back, more toffee notes. Good beer.

This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated nice and even. Moderate stringy lace.
The aroma started off with a smooth roasty coffee to chocolate malty silkiness. Vanilla bean is super subtle, seems barely there.
The flavor tries to blend but leans towards the coffee and chocolate sweet and roasty. Touches down in the aftertaste and throws itself into the finish fairly nice.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Nicely carbonated and the ABV feels right.
Overall, good porter that keeps the vanilla bean fairly underneath.
