Tap. Near mahogany color with a decent beige head. Very light aroma - hard to get details. Slightly roasted caramel with herbal or grassy hop for flavor. Goes lightly bitter and lightly sweet. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Finishes reasonably dry.

draft somewhere in Amsterdam - Pours dark amber with a medium sized head. The taste is malty and I thought it had a nice spiciness to it. Pretty good.

Amber colour, almost no head. Not much of an aroma, a bit sweet caramel. Taste is malty and sweet and has some herbs. Not interesting

Purchased at the Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. Amber color and low carbonation. Light malt and strangely an aroma that includes Belgian yeast. Some smoke, and a light palate.

(Draught at Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Dark amber colour with huge, foamy, off-white head. Slightly roasted, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit (apricotes, prunes). Malty, rather toasty taste with dark fruit, notes of yeast and hints of spicy hops in the finish. Lots of carbonation giving it a slightly prickly mouthfeel. Nice but hardly exciting.

Bottled. Amberish ruby colour, mediumsized beige head, which settles in a while and leaves good lace. Aroma is caramel, grass and sugar, a bit tea-like dryness being apparent also. Flavour is quite the same. A very interesting brew indeed.

Bottle, 5%. Very fruity aroma, a bit like tea. Almost clear brown colour. Stable, creamy, light brown head. The flavour is also teaish, semi-sweet. Medium bitterness. Actually a quite interesting beer.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear amber, airy head. Bready malt aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Roasty and dominated by buttery malt. Near no hops, instead it finishes with some unusual popcorn flavour.
