This new ice cider is made from a blend of heirloom apples, naturally cold concentrated, partially fermented, and then aged in rye whiskey barrels used by Superstition Meadery to age cherry mead. The complexity and intensity of the fruit is balanced with acidity, tannin and alcohol in equal measure. Don't bother trying to get it all straight, just sip and enjoy!

Pours a lovely clear reddish-brown with hints of purple lurking in the depths. Notes of oak, cherry, and concentrated apple waft. Complex, vinegary cherry and apple flavor. Sweet and syrupy, but with a nice acidic/tannic finish. Very good cider.
