For this special release we rested our luxurious barleywine in Maker's Mark Bourbon barrels. Layers of vanilla and tannic oak mingle with the flavors of dried fruits, toffee, and leather. As it warms in the glass, caramel, plum, and cherry aromas come forward. A tulip glass is a must for this decadant cold weather sipping beer.

Pours a nice mahogany from a bottle. Rich caramel, oak and vanilla notes in the nose, similar flavor, very sweet. Good beer.
