Pours a near black from a can, off-white colored head. A friend said this poured with tons of coconut, I disagree. First notes I get in the nose are vanilla, a bit of bourbon and Coke, then coconut. On the tongue the primary flavor note for me is chocolate then coconut. Although there's some sweetness to the canned version, poured from a tap at the brewery it was surprisingly (but nicely) dry. Pretty good beer.
