Pours a deep, dark color, with a nice tan/creamy head. Flavors are dark cocoa, light roasted coffee, malty sweetness and a bit of caramel faint late bitterness from the american and british hops take a back seat but produce aromas of pine, earthy nuttiness and leather.

Pours a near black from a can. Aroma is thick roasty chocolate malt, maybe a little bananas foster. Similar flavor, semi-sweet. Good beer.
