Dark brown color. Strong aroma of chocolate and hazelnut. Robust dark caramel flavor, some dark chocolate, roasted nuts. A bit ashy in the final.
Not bad.

Dark brown. Not much head. On the nose, this has a lot of coffee, and yeah, peanut butter...really quite nutty. Lots of peanut butter, and then there's some chocolate. Thin. Odd...flavoured beer but without the richness that a lot of these types of beers have. I think with the coffee is the good element, that peanut butter stuff I'm not digging that.

Bottle - Peanut butter and light chocolate. Jet brown with a small beige head. Peanut butter and an odd bitterness in the finish. No Java here.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with peanut butter, followed by dark cocoa and coffee. Flavour is loaded with roasted peanuts upfront, with coffee and a touch of dark cocoa. Really nice roasted peanut character. Light on the palate, but nicely constructed. Good stuff.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear ruby-brown with a large, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of peanut butter, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee , caramel and vanilla. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, peanut butter, dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. As good but not better than the original. The espresso was very subtle.

12 ounce bottle. Dark brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of fake peanut butter, roast, chocolate. The taste is peanut butter, chocolate, roast, peanut shells. Thin, seems artificial. Meh.

Peanut and hazelnut nose. Black, thin tan head, good lace. Coffee, hazelnut, dark chocolate. Medium body, easy carbonation, some astringency. I would love to see a richer imperial stout version of this beer’s components.
