On tap at Shelton Festival, pours a hazy amber with medium frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is oak, leather, earth, funk. Medium body, dark fruit, earth, oak, funk, dry finish, very good.

Sample at Urban Artifact during The Extinction Event: Natural Wine & Spontaneous Beer Fest on 09/28/2019. Hazy reddish-mahogany color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of oak, cherry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, oaky vanilla, funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and funky with an oak and cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at Craft Brewed for CBC event. Pours a clearish brown with a finger of foam that lingers. Vinous dark fruit and cherry aromas with some balsamic vinegar aromas. Acidic on the palate with a lingering vinegar and cherry flavor. Lingering acidic finish with more cherry pit and currant.
