Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 5 | Overall - 4.5
Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours lemon yellow with minimal foamy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly herbal with some mint but also hints of tropical fruit. In the mouth it is decidedly sweet, slightly juicy and also a tad watery. Not really a lot of flavour at all, though there are traces of light citrus, nuts, tangerine and (later) some spice. A little bitterness in the finish. Pleasant, but not much character.
