This special collaboration with our friends at Whitstable Oyster Brewing brings together land and sea in a uniquely refined lager.
Brewed to a classic German-style base (5.5%), we used only malted barley and a trio of noble German hops — Mittelfrüh, Tettnang, and Mandarina Bavaria — for a clean, earthy and subtly herbal finish.
We added 1 kg of Whitstable sea salt flakes and 1–2kg fresh oyster shells straight from Whitstable Oyster’s own hatchery, lending a velvety salinity and soft mineral character to the beer.
Allergens: Malted Barley (GLUTEN), Oyster Shells (SHELLFISH).
Tasting Notes: Crisp, malty, saline, fresh, sweet, dry(ish).

Nose is pale malts, bread dough, straw.
Taste comprises pale and bready malts, grass, herb, faint citric peel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent refreshing logger-bier.
