Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7.5

Can at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a medium sized frothy beige head and good lacing. The aroma is an attractive mix of roast malts, biscuits, chocolate and cocoa. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with roast malts again to the fore. Plenty of chocolate, honey and ginger as well with hints of vanilla and spice later on leading to a slightly dry finish. This is rather nice ! The flavourings don’t overwhelm the stout character.

can at #cropredy2025 ..
dark black ..thin tan lacing ..soft sweet caramel chocolate roast malts nose ..soft milk chocolate roast ..not getting honeycomb but light bitter chocolate edge
