Motueka has always been a firm favourite here at the brewery. Lime and gooseberry burst from this hop; it also maintains a bold, juicy front with a very drinkable finish. This DDH IPA is no different; Motueka doesn't hide, and the slightly paler shade of haze gives it away. It's zesty, soft, and creamy, while presenting clean flavours that mask the ABV nicely. Murky orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grapefruit, dank chime, twist of lime.
Taste comprises guava, lychee, ripe tropicana, orange zest.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy.

Appearance is hazy golden, with a white fizzy head. Aroma is floral hops, sherbet lemon, lime, grapefruit hints. Taste is sherbet lemon, spritzy hops, lime, orange hints, spritzy sugary fruit, touch of sourness in the finish.

Keg at Cloudwater taproom, Bermondsey, London. A hazy golden/murky orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, lime, mango, peach, tropical fruit taste, aroma is something similar. A soft, rich, smooth IPA that was so very drinkable. I had 3 half pints in no time at all.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small tidy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth soft pale malts, a soft creamy sweetness. Motueka hops bring soft pine,.very good key lime and a touch of lime cheesecake candy. Floral lime and a little peachy pine. Motueka at its best. Splendid!
