Pours a lightly hazy, reddish-purple, with minimal head. Aroma is tart blueberry and herbs. Flavor is tart (almost bitterly so) blueberry. Bitter finish. No sweetness in this one whatsoever. Mouthfeel seems a bit thin.

Got in a trade with GreenBayBA. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy ruby red/orange, light pink/purple color with a 1 finger dense and rocky light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, basil, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of blueberries, basil, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy blueberries, basil, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and basil bitter/spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blueberries, basil, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberries, basil, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt, tart, tangy, bitter, spiciness balance; and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tang/tartness and bitter/spiciness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an awesome fruited/spiced kettle sour. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberries, basil, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/bitter/spicy/drying finish; not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy berries, basil, and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

16 ounce can from Wine Cellar dePere, 4/8/19. Purple, hazy, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of tart berry, basil, hay, pale malt. Taste is herbal notes, basil, kinda like pizza, with tart dry berries. Medium bodied, simple, but a bit different. Solid.

On tap at Drekker - Brewhalla, pours an opaque cloudy dark pink with a small light pink head. Aroma is loaded with the basil upfront, with some tart blueberries to follow and lacto. Flavour is very herbal, with the basil dominating, followed by muted earthy blueberries. The basil is way too pronounced her - instead of nicely accentuating the fruit, it just creates a muted herbal character. This isn't working for me.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a hazy light purple with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has basil and blueberry yogurt with a bit of funk. Flavor has lots of yogurt and basil with some tart blueberry underlying.

Draft at the source. Cloudy purple color. Blueberry aroma with herbs. Taste has more basil but notbtoo much. Decent sourness, lots of berries, comes together nicely.
