(bottle, 4.8% abv) Clear, amber colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, but also a woody and slightly sweaty touch, accompanied by shades of bready cara-malt. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty with a present hops profile, including notes of citrus and grapefruit; quite dry and moderately bitter, also lasting fruity hoppy finish. Easy-going Ale. 25.IX.13

Halt pint, cask by handpump at Malt and Hops. Loose bubbly, beige head. Cloudy amber coloured body. Fresh citrus aroma, grapefruit up front. Joint taste profile of grapefruit, peach and pineapple followed by a smooth bitterness of citrus peels. Refreshing and tasty (Leith 11.08.2013).

Bottle from Waitrose. Copper coloured, thin white head. Aroma of ripe raspberries. Then it goes a bit downhill. Taste is bitter, burnt caramel. Overly sweet. Not my thing really.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body. Fruity perfumy spicy aroma with grape notes. Dry-sweet fruity spicy gooseberry taste with grassy wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry spicy wooden gooseberry aftertaste with grassy dandelion notes. Nice, drinkable, perhaps slightly sharp finish. (0.5l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.)
