Bottle from unclemattie; nose of chocolate, coffee, roastiness, and smoke; Slightly hazy cherry brown with a small beige head; flavor is coffee, and some bittersweet chocolate with background hoppiness. After the coffee fades a nice hop bitterness makes a finish. Pretty good porter.

On draft - Stogies and Stouts at Dunedin Brewery 02/08/07. Pours dark with creamy-frothy light brown head. The aroma is of semi sweet chocolate and semi sweet malts and overall its kind of light. The taste starts out fairly neutral then leans in the sweet malt direction. Just beyond that a hint of fruit surfaces and is then swallowed by a smooth mixture of coffee, chocolate, caramel and burnt malts.

Bottle. Chocolate oat malt aroma. Dark black color with minimal head. Dark chocolate and oat malt flavor with moderate hops finish. Nice tasty brew.

12oz Bottle Pours out very very foamy. Foam goes down very slow. Dark brown with a little red. With some grape tast. Thanks Indiana_Red

Bottle Pours with a HUGE foamy tan head. Formed a cornice on the leeward side of the glass. Nearly a gusher. As the head slowly receded back to earth I was able to discern the color of the actual beer. Seems to be a clear very dark brown. Lots of sweet smokey chocolately notes. Flavor is smokey but plenty sweet and grapey. Some woody dark rasted flavors and a lingering bitter bite at the very end. Slightly dry. Thanks again to Captain Cougar
